Pope's Advice to Young Priests

 
In speaking to the bishops from the Philippines, Pope Benedict XVI recommended that newly ordained priests be "assigned mentors from among older clergy to help in living the vocation in a balanced way." Pope Benedict expressed how these mentors would help younger clergy live an integrated and healthy priesthood and also prevent them from being isolated. Read a summary of his remarks from Zenit here.
