Yesterday was Respect Life Sunday, celebrated throughout the Diocese of Trenton. Three Life Chains were held, four 40 Days for Life, a Baby Shower for Life and many Holy Hours for Life. Perhaps you were able to attend one of these liturgies or events.
Remember that October is Respect Life Month! There are many ways you can 
continue to give thanks to God for the gift of human life and raise awareness of Catholic teaching on the sanctity of life. Please consider registering to pray at one of the 40 Days for Life locations in the diocese. Or attending the Good Counsel Home - South Jersey "Meet and Greet" on Oct. 5th at 7 pm at Holy Innocents Parish in Neptune to learn how you can volunteer your time to help this wonderful home. The annual Champions for Life Award Dinner will be held at the Waterview Pavilion in Belmar on October 23rd. Also on October 23rd, the annual Fundraising Banquet to Benefit Good Counsel Home - South Jersey will be heldat Luciens Manor in Berlin, New Jersey. The Diocese of Metuchen will hold its annual Critical Life Issues Conference in Piscataway on October 29th.
